We have a new fisherman in the family!  On March 19. 2006 at 4:40pm we welcomed Cabo Alexander into our family!  Cabo now has his own page with new pictures added often!  Cabo's first close-up and our first family photo:

We have not been able to fish often in the past 18 months, but the days we have been able to get out have often been good!  Recent catch and releases:

The spindles showed off some of their acrobatic talents, but our slow camera trigger fingers weren't  quite up to the job.  The best jumping picture was this one:

The day started off with something you don't see too often... A dolphin swimming in the intracoastal waterway more than 10 miles from the nearest inlet!

In May John and Rebecca traveled to Costa Rica on a whim - and we caught (and released) our respective first pacific sailfish!  Pacific sailfish are much bigger than their Atlantic sailfish cousins:

We also had a run-in with some pelicans on the way home - this one didn't believe me when I said there was no more bait in the live well.  Unconvinced, he decided to check it out for himself!
